Hi There

Well, we're not in Kansas anymore Toto. 'No longer a' Cyclone Alfred caused way more damage after it was downgraded. And as of this morning Cyclone Trump has decided to whack a 25% tariff on Australian steel and aluminium. What will happen next week? Who knows!?!?

Anyway, it's been a good reminder for me that when we complain about never ending regs&legs changes, at least we're not dealing with Trump or a cyclone most days. And that's a positive right?

Speaking of regs&legs, we have our ASFA National Legislation Discussion Group on Monday, 17 March at 1-2pm with guest speaker Jon Ireland, Partner at DLA Piper. Jon is going to be talking investment governance, which is so hot right now after ASIC's recent discussion paper re private capital.

Plus our first CREW webinar for 2025 is on Tuesday, 1 April from 1-2pm - we'll be talking AML. All the details below plus the latest news and views.

Cheers

Sarah

PS: We are looking for a Keystone gun for a three month contract starting ASAP. If that's you or you know someone, please get in touch.
