Hi There

I'm writing this from sunny Perth. It's very nice here, but a very long way from anything. It's somehow a bit easier to ignore Trump when the sun is shining and I'm raiding Dad's fridge (I might be 50 but staying at your parent's place turns you back into a teenager real fast!).

On the work front, the fallout from the super fund hacks continues. AustralianSuper CEO Paul Schroder said "I want to be clear that AustralianSuper was not hacked". Mate you can call it what you want, we call it hacked. And it's bad.

On a lighter* note this week we had our ASFA National Discussion Group with guest speaker Simun Soljo, Partner at Allens who discussed "Fund expenditure requirements under updated SPS 515 and APRA scrutiny”. Simun stepped through the requirements and potential issues, and strongly recommended having all your ducks in a row should you ever have a 'please explain' from APRA.

It never stops does it?!

Cheers

Sarah

*Well, I wouldn't want to be dealing with this either frankly!
