Hi There

Don't know about you, but this week just seems kind of tough. Is it the middle of the year? Is it the cold? Dunno. But if you're feeling a bit blah this week, you're in good company.

And to celebrate not being at your best, here's a little article I wrote about AFGOs (Another Fabulous Growth Opportunity), aka a good old stuff-up. In fact, at Mayflower, we are having an internal competition this week as to who can recount the best AFGO (bonus points for actual $ impact and/or public humiliation). I know I've had some absolute pearlers along the way, and of course they continue unabated, although at a slower* rate these days!

The thing about AFGOs is they can be used to punish or they can be used to learn and improve. And that's both from a boss-employee point of view and also your internal self talk.

So celebrate the AFGO! And if you've got any shockers that you want to get off your chest, feel free to reply ;)

Regards

Sarah
