Hi There

Spring has sprung so that means it's time for APRA's annual performance test.

This year only 12 products fell short. Of the 50 MySuper products assessed, BUSSQ’s Balanced Growth MySuper investment option was the only one to miss the mark. The remaining 11 failures came from platform products. You'll find all the latest news, views and events below.

Cheers

Sarah

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK

Frontier AI - if you're not concerned then you're not paying attention!

I chair the FSC Tech and Innovation Expert Group and we were joined by ASIC last week to run us through the key takeouts from their latest report. For the most part, I've very pro AI, but of course, any new tech can be used for evil as much as good, and hackers using AI to beef up their cyber attack efforts is a very real threat.

Following nine roundtables involving more than 600 attendees, the message from the regulators is get busy now: strengthen cyber fundamentals, map critical systems and third-party dependencies, test response and recovery plans, and agree on risk appetite and escalation authority before a crisis does it for you.

Read all the details here.
